Worlds & scenarios
How historical turning points become playable worlds, and why examples are questions, not promises.
Each session begins from a turning point: a moment where the historical record could plausibly have broken the other way. What if the coalition forces broke at Waterloo? What if Kennedy survived Dallas?
Scenarios shown on the website are illustrative starting points, examples of the questions an alternate history can explore. They are not live sessions, and they are not promises of how any story would unfold. The app itself shows which prepared scenarios have actually been opened for play.
After divergence
Once a world diverges from the record, real history becomes a reservoir of possibilities rather than a script. The engine advances the simulated world from the players’ decisions; it does not replay what really happened, and it does not invent the session’s faction identities.
